PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 Delivery, Charges, and Times
PORTUGAL MAINLAND 🇵🇹 24-96 hr Express Delivery Charges:
- Up to 1kg - € 7.80
- 1.01 to 5kg - € 8.80
- 5.01kg to 10kg - € 9.80
- 10.01 to 15kg - € 11.95
- 15.01 to 20kg - € 16.50
- 20.01 to 25kg - € 18.55
- 25.to 30kg - € 24.00
Important Information Regarding Deliveries and Packaging
Transit times are indicative and may vary depending on the address of the destination and do not include weekends or holidays in any of the countries through which the expedition transits. All Transit Times refer to shipments sent from Portugal.
All liquid products are packed in a separate plastic bag as a barrier between the rest of the order contents to help limit and reduce damage or contamination in the unlikely event of a leak or damage caused by courier handling or product packaging defect. In case of such a mishap, please (if possible) take photos of the damaged packaging and email them to us together with the order information. We will endeavor to replace the product(s) as soon as possible.
While all care is taken with regards to storage and packaging, due to the excessively warm Portuguese summer temperatures, we are unable to guarantee certain confectionery products against slight deformation while in transit to our customers. Our stock is kept in a humidity and temperature-controlled storage room so it leaves our premises in a cool, safe, and hygienic state. Our service is 24-48 hours, so there should not be any issue, but once it leaves our premises, we are at the mercy of the courier delivery service.
All of our deliveries are shipped from our premises in Portugal with Correos Express on a 24-48 hour delivery service (unless otherwise arranged prior to ordering or specified). You should receive your parcel within 24-48 hours after the parcel has been dispatched and not 48 hours from when the order is placed.
Parcels are usually delivered between 8 am and 6 pm. Unfortunately, we cannot arrange or guarantee delivery by a specific time. A tracking number will be emailed for easy tracking of the parcel. All parcels will need to be signed for by someone at the specified delivery address. If no one is at home, the parcel will be sent back to the courier dispatch warehouse, and re-delivery will be attempted. If multiple re-deliveries are attempted and remain undeliverable, the parcel will be returned to Safico, and the customer will be liable for any re-delivery charges and administrative fees. Please only place an order if you (or a friend/family member) are going to be available to sign for the parcel.
Once a parcel is dispatched from our premises, you will receive email communications from us that your order has been fulfilled and dispatched, together with tracking details of your parcel. If you have any queries relating to your parcel, please contact Correos Express, as they will be able to give you immediate and accurate details on the status and whereabouts of your parcel.
Correos Express cannot guarantee your delivery arriving within 24-48 hours from the time of dispatch during holiday periods and busy times of the year. Together with Correos Express, we will go out of our way to get your parcel to you on time.
We cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date during holidays and busy times of the year (this includes national and regional holiday weekends). Please order early and well in advance if you have a special occasion or timeframe to receive the goods by. We will ALWAYS be on hand to accommodate and help out where we can, so if you have any special requests or requirements, please get in touch, and we will try and oblige if at all possible! Please also be aware that we experience a high volume of orders daily, and special arrangements are not always possible.
Disclaimer: While we do our best to pack everything as safely as possible, we cannot be held responsible for broken items. Couriers can sometimes handle parcels roughly, and we have experienced a few broken items already. We will make claims with the courier and attempt to resolve any issues, but we cannot guarantee the success of these claims.
